CONTAINER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

HPC’s Container Management program enhances operational efficiency and reduces costs through a streamlined approach to container logistics. By minimizing on-site containers, we lower transportation expenses, headcount, labor and rental days, generating significant savings.

We consolidate multiple customer vendors into a single partnership, simplifying procurement and improving communication while maximizing resource utilization. Our on-site cleaning services reduce cleaning costs and eliminate confined space entry cleaning, enhancing safety and ensuring compliance with regulations.

To maintain control, we use a state-of-the-art, in-house electronic container tracking system to manage container flow and ensure compliance with waste regulations. Our services also include comprehensive management of items in frac tanks or roll-off boxes, ensuring efficient operational workflow.

Benefits

  • - Elimination of multiple contractors, improving operational efficiency.
  • - All container needs, tracking, utilization and services are filtered through an on-site, single point of contact.
  • - Visibility to their inventory, activity and on-site waste requirement through CHOS.
  • - Reduced logistics and cleaning costs by being on-site.
  • - Chemical compatibility checks reduce damages, lost part charges, repair costs, assets not being utilized and rental day reduction.
  • - Spend and utilization data is recorded, stored and available for future budgeting.
  • - Reduced headcount and plant traffic.
  • - Providing 400 bbl. vertical rental tanks during T/A projects. Three tanks fill one frac tank footprint.
  • - Real-time visibility; cellular frac tank liquid level monitoring and GPS location site map.

CONTAINER TRACKING

HPC has implemented a web-based tracking system for container management that provides a real-time view of the location and status of our containers. This system allows for cost center and area allocation, utilizing hand-held scanning technology on smartphones. HPC manages a full range of container types and sizes, with over 7,500 containers owned throughout North America, all uniquely numbered and barcode-labeled for easy identification. This system is more reliable than GPS and effectively monitors the number of containers on-site, their utilization, and the duration they have been rented. Additionally, it features a CHOS customer platform that contributes significant cost savings and provides customers with visibility to their own inventory, activity and on-site waste requirements.

CONTAINER CLEANING

Container cleaning involves several key strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. By performing on-site cleaning, we can significantly lower cleaning expenses while also mitigating the need for confined space cleaning through the use of advanced technology. Additionally, implementing practices to reduce wash-water usage contributes to environmental sustainability. Another important aspect is streamlining the use of underutilized containers to maximize efficiency. Finally, by cross-training HPC personnel, we ensure that our team is well-equipped to handle various cleaning tasks effectively.

RENTAL SPEND MANAGEMENT

Managing the client’s current rental spend involves overseeing o site rental and service vendors across various categories. This includes all types and sizes of roll-offs handled by the CH container team, as well as frac tanks from the same team. Additionally, our core business focuses on frac tank and box secondary containments, managing precipitation draining into the environment, while the Vapor Recovery business line manages VOC tank scrubbers. We also provide services related to tank and rental pump manifolding, which connect these rental units and falls under the Mechanical business line SMS. The rental pieces will require a range of services to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Finally, we limit rental spending by charging our owned containers only when they are in use, not when they are at a facility or within the plant waiting to be used.

INTEGRATED SERVICES

WASTE DISPOSAL

We provide comprehensive waste disposal services from cradle to grave, effectively handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as well as organic and inorganic materials, including aqueous, liquid, solids and sludge. Additionally, we specialize in wastewater treatment, incineration and landfill disposal to ensure safe and responsible waste management.

VAPOR CONTROL

Vapor control is essential for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes the use of integrated vapor control systems, combustors, thermal oxidizers, and simple carbon and chemical scrubbers. These technologies work together to effectively manage and reduce environmental impact.

LDAR

LDAR monitoring involves utilizing the latest technology to oversee our frac tanks, roll-off boxes and scrubbers. This process includes compliance tagging, BWON compliance and conducting audits to ensure that all regulations are met effectively.
